There have been a handful of years since the reservoir reached normal fluctuating levels in 1973 that summer release temperatures increased. There are a variety of reasons for this, including lower lake elevations, use of the spillways during flood years, and unusual tailwater warming or hydrodynamics in the reservoir. |
